Session Zero Kit

Plan your first meeting in ten minutes: tone, what the table wants, safety tools, house rules and table agreements — then print it, share it or start the campaign with it.

Why run a session zero?

  • Fewer bad nights. Most table problems are mismatched expectations — one player wants dungeon crawls, another wants court intrigue.
  • Safety tools are quick. Lines and veils take five minutes and mean nobody gets blindsided. Collect them privately if your group prefers.
  • Write it down. Save the agreement in your campaign so new players can read it before they join.

Lines and veils come from Ron Edwards’ Sex & Sorcery; the X-card is by John Stavropoulos. Your answers are saved in this browser only.
