Overview
A valley domain of dread in Ravenloft, sealed by deadly mists and ruled by the vampire Count Strahd von Zarovich. The land is gloomy and seldom sunlit, and its people are fatalistic — many are born without souls. Only the wandering Vistani can pass through the fog freely.
A few walled settlements (the Village of Barovia, Vallaki and Krezk) and haunted ruins dot the valley, with Castle Ravenloft looming over all of it.
